Female in Contemporary Art
Artist Shahnawaz Zaidi
There are many things in life which directly strikes to our minds .why it happens? There are many reasons for this. The important thing is that why mind takes inspiration from its surroundings in life. Simply, the answer is that, man’s nature is made up of love, hatred and all kinds of emotions.
When God created man he used all kinds of clay like stones, mud and sand so man’s nature is full of all emotions and his mind works according to surroundings which alerts his sensation.
Like wise when we take a look at our surroundings, our minds become gets alert at once and starts thinking quickly about the sight, but some people have God gifted quality of converting their imagination on the canvas. It’s an artist who can observe the things in his surroundings with naked eye and has the quality to convert it on canvas in the form of painting. That is not just a painting but a collection of one’s minds inspiration, sensation, emotions, eye view, and imagination.
HASSAN SHAH NAWAZ ZAIDI
There are many talented and magnificent artists in Pakistan. Shahnawaz Zaidi is one of them.
Shah Nawaz zaidi born in 21 may, 1948.He has eleven siblings. His child hood spends in small city of Pakistan Mandibhawaldin. In his times he used to study at home and after fifth standard he joined corporation school. In his child hood he used to sketch on his note books and often punished by his teachers.
In his college life He was fond of reading literary books and than shared with others. Music was his first passion but due to some family restrictions he did not take some special training for it. He used to inspire from drawings of his elder sister Arjumend shaheen and photography of his father. He did his MFA in graphic design in visual communication 1968 from university of the Punjab Lahore. He joined Punjab University as a teacher in 1984. He did not attend any painting and sculpture class but he loves to do painting. His teacher Anna Molka suggested him to do Mfa in designing because of the bad economical condition of painters that time. He never planned his life and enjoyed all the fields of arts. He is a designer, poet, painter, actor, compare, singer, music composer, administraror and director. He also wrote the plays and directed it and also performed in it.
Hassan Shah Nawaz Zaidi has a very sensitive out look so it is at the highest point where he stands to depict his observation which he derives through imaginations with his naked eye he observes things in his surroundings and converts it on his canvas to form a painting. We arrive at the conclusion that opinion is of the world presented to the senses, where as knowledge is of a super sensible eternal world, so opinion is concerned with beautiful things but knowledge is concerned with beauty in it.
· Hassan Shah Nawaz Zaidi reaches to the knowledge of beauty through the sensitivity of perception, and to the vision of truth any one who has done any kind of creative work has experienced, in a greater or less degree, the state of mind in which, after a long labor, truth as beauty appears, it may be only about a small matter, or it may be about the universe. The experience is at a moment, very convincing. Most of the best work in art and in literature has been the result of such a moment. To the modern concept empirical knowledge is dependent upon or derived from perception.
No doubt artist views reality through imagination. He is not supposed to record moments or expressions as they are accorded, he depicts how he feels them.
Shah Nawaz Zaidi thoughts move around the beauty of society and nature. A common person wants to see beautiful objects and an artist searches beauty in an object with in itself. So that the former has an opinion about beauty and the later has the knowledge of beauty.
We arrive at the conclusion that opinion is of the world presented to the senses, where as knowledge is of a super sensible eternal world so opinion is concerned with beautiful things and knowledge is concerned with beauty in an object.
He reaches to the knowledge of beauty through the sensitivity of perception and the vision of truth. Any one who has done any kind of creative work has experienced, in a greater or less degree, the state of mind in which, after a long labor, truth of beauty appears.
POET
Shah nawaz Zaidi’s priorities reflect the tradition of Sufism. He translated the poems of Tigor, which was rewarded with Nobel Prize. He translated the poems in the verses, not prose. It is simply tribute to a great poet and seems like how Mian Muhammad Bukhsh admired Hashim sttatt in his great Legend of Saif ul malook.
· Hashim shah de hashmast barket gashroch na awy
Dar yateen jawahar laryan zahir kad layaway.
The main points can be many which made Shah Nawaz Zaidi in “Geetan jalie” but one thing is quite common between both. Tigor and Shah Nawaz Zaidi that is sympathy for society and nature.
One will find it when one will study his “Aiana Dar”. This collection of poetry is entirely based on social aspects.
PORTRAITS Portrait can be considered as his favorite subject in painting. He painted many portraits of historical personalities, such as
· Umar khayam
· Abu baker zakriya al Razi
· Wali uddin bin khaldum
· Professor Rynold A. Nicholson
· Quaid e azam
These portraits are displayed permanently in the lobby of Awan-e-iqbal complex. These portraits have been executed in rich Flemish style. Various influences of styles and techniques are the main character of his painting career.
Chiaroscuro effect is delicately depicted like Rubens. Background is dark but not smooth, illusionary with colors and dramatic light. Life size figures have been painted and placed little off centered unlike gothic traditions.
All the portraits emphasize on the characters and make one’s eye travel to the blink of light in the eyes of person. The parts of paintings which are away from the face painted with less detail as much away they are from the focal point as less detail is depicted. The technique of painting is applied with free and curved brush strokes. Thick over thin paint is applied with bold and confined brush strokes. Texture of the skin and drapery is controlled with same manner, effect and impact is entirely different.
The quality of strokes, colors and soft outline of the form are the subjected characters of these portraits. In every portrait figure has been painted along with hands to create movement and builds strong pyramid composition.
The mood is highly concerned in these portraits, quick and frequent strokes are applied and repeated strokes have been avoided- like the others works sir Zaidi played harmony and repetition of color with signature. It reflects his individuality in art.
MODERN TECHNONOGY
He has deep analyses about social behavior. Most of the time people give priority to sciences instead of art. To him art and science walk together to modernize a society. Science makes us to signify mass and art builds wisdom. So a productive personality can be produced by art itself.
In his one of his poems he mention, the squares of matrix womp censor an image on TV, to criticize usage of modern technology.
PAINTING
There is very certain influence of the beginning of ancient contribution in knowledge over his entire work. The usage of geometrical shapes in his paintings and poetry refers us to the historical achievements of ancient civilization. Greeks appears clearly in mathematics which they learned by the Babylonians. What they did in art, literature and philosophy was good but what they did in geometry is out of question. They derived some thing from Egypt and less from Babylonian.
· The art of mathematical demonstration was almost Greek in origin.
When he uses any geometrical shape in his painting it simply gives us a hint of his awareness about the beginning of philosophy. Many of the abstract expressionists used such a shapes in their works. Because they were educated in philosophy and they used these geometrical shapes in their paintings.
· He pointed the importance of symbolic elements in painting even the simple words can be used by artist in paintings for the addition of concept. So it is quite clear that concept in an art work is most necessary substance. Even an art critic must has to find that what is depicted in the painting by artist, if there is some misunderstanding about the subject of the art work then it must be acquired by artist to make it more certain to signify his imaginations.
· It leads us to the point that simply recording a moment or nature is the basic academic practice while the art education makes artist to speak through the elements of art.
· In a conceptual art, artist has to express him self through art and art should be explained by the artist. The conceptual art is very much important to be produced. Only the modern western styles are not enough to present concept even a thought can be painted through traditional ways. It is not required in which style concept is painted but how it is depicted, whether modern or traditional way. Because of modern symbolic painting styles, it is thought that the concept can only be painted correctly. But according to Hassan shah nawaz zaidi it is not convincing notion. He gives freedom to artist to paint a theme in any style, modern or traditional.
The true element of the material world, timaeus says are not earth, air, fire and water but two sorts of right angled triangles, the one which is half a square and the one which is half an equilateral triangle. “The various elements had different places before they were arranged so as to form the universe. But than God fashioned them by form and number and made them as far as possible fairest and best out of things which were not fair and good.”
It leads us to the point that simply recording nature or view is the basic practice while the art education makes artist to speak through colors.
Artist has to express him self through art and art should be explained by the artist.
The importance of conceptual art is very much needed to be produce. Only the modern western styles are not enough to present a concept, even a thought can be painted through traditional ways. It is not required in which way a concept is painted but how it is depicted; it does not mean the technique. Because of modern symbolic painting styles, it is thought that the concept can only be painted through it; Hassan Shah Nawaz Zaidi is not convinced by such a nation. He gives freedom to artist to paint a theme in any style whether it is modern or traditional.
Like the artist of the Italian Renaissance Shah Nawaz Zaidi worked with talent in all the four field of art of beauty. So it is the solid evidence praise beauty, and tenderness. His different works show different influences and mood.
In the historical portraits Flemish style has great influence over his work. When he paints female figure and portraits, he seems to be inspired by the French impressionist. His illustrations have mood like American illustrations. His bold expression has the quality like New York school.
Some time he paints like Durmier Curved, moving long strokes and complex and dramatic composition. His painting with pastels signifies oriental interest.
PAINTING OF WOMEN
A female seated figure is painted, with a book. A geometrical symbol is added in this painting. By this we can say that the painter wants to emphasize on women’s interest in knowledge in his painting. To analyze this painting we must reveal the objective and subjective values to reach a certain conclusion.
PSYCHOLOGICAL INFLUENCE
· Magic is the image is so strong that it catches the viewer’s attention and makes him to think about the fascinating female figure and complicated subject of knowledge.
· Rule of iconography has been broken, by placing the figure little away from the centre and cutting the feet deliberately from the frame.
· A philosophical symbol is used in the painting that is an angle of 90% is used as a seat for the model’
This 90% angel was discovered by the Babylonians. It is the first geometrical shape done by man and considered to be the beginning of knowledge. So it is historically linked with philosophy adding appears, it may be only about a small matter or it may be about the universe. The experience is at a moment very convincing. Most of the best work in art and in literature as been the result of search a moment. To the modern concept empirical knowledge depends upon or derived from perception.
Sculpture
His concept about the difference between an idol and sculpture is very inspiring. The rule is very simple like Marques Aquintes said that only simplicity gives us passage to conclusion, idols are to be worshiped and sculpture is not to be. Any three dimensional shape is called a sculpture, a chair, a table even a building can be considered as a sculpture. He verifies many ways of idol worshiping, some people worship their desires, some worship power and capital and some worship icons.
So these kinds of misleading ways of worshiping must be detained for a better society. Only the blame for a sculpture is not suitable for moral ethics and it is a narrow and negative criticism on art.

Office Art Wall and Other Ideas to Cheer Up Clinics
Most people dread going to clinics. Clinics are for the sick and the injured, and people, especially children, do not like the feeling of dread upon entering such facility.
Another factor why people do not want to go to clinics is because most of these offices lack a personal touch. The next time you go to a clinic, check out the walls and decors while waiting for your doctor to attend to you. You will notice that most have posters on walls dealing with cancer prevention, breastfeeding, reminders for checkups, warnings and details on certain diseases and vices, tips on how to live a healthy life, and others. These posters remind us of our frailty and vulnerability. Yes, we all agree that they are there for a good reason, but they give us a feeling of negativity and fear.
Just imagine, you are there to seek for help in getting treatment, worried about the illness you are afflicted with. Then you are bombarded with posters regarding illnesses! How would you feel?
Indeed, the clinic, or doctor’s office, can be a stressful, frightening place. We need something positive to make us feel good in this dreadful office. Wall art, for example, that is placed in these offices will surely help.
Positive decorations like artwork can calm down a patient and reduces his apprehension. Instead of being bombarded with messages of dread, why not instill a positive aura? Remember that patients are there because they know that they are sick; doctors don’t need to rub that fact in.
If you are a doctor and own a clinic, here are some ideas on how to make your clinic a more cheerful place.
1. Put up a sound system and pipe in soothing music. Good music always calms the heart and relaxes the soul. There are lots of instrumental, inspirational, and soft music available in CD stores. Or you can download an mp3 file from the Internet. Remember though that blaring music can cause more stress and can be annoying. Lower down the volume.
2. Repaint the entire office with a light color. A lighter color is easier to the eyes. Whites and yellows are okay, but pastels are also good choices.
3. Lighting plays an important part of calming a patient. Natural light coming through large windows is best, but this can be harsh during noontime, necessitating the use of blinds. Avoid harsh fluorescent lighting; use soft pin lights and spotlights instead.
4. Add delightful flowers and plants. They can surely add life to a dreary place.
5. You can replace medical posters with office art wall. You can also use art that depicts peaceful meadow-paradise scenes. Abstract or contemporary art is also a good choice. Abstract art, composed of patters which does not represent anything, will keep patients busy trying to interpret the painting. Choose something with soft, light colors.
6. If you do photography as a hobby, print and enlarge pictures. Frame them and hang them on walls. You can take pictures of something pleasant-flowers, scenery, a cute kitten or a puppy, a mother and a child.

Renaissance Dresses Enhance Your Appearance in Ren Fair Party
Renaissance period had in fact some prettily designed dresses for men, women and children. The fashion in renaissance period was disposed towards the lavish designs and simplistic forms. According to historical records, silks and furs were broadly used in the manufacturing of dresses during renaissance time. Dresses during the Renaissance period were more about displaying social status of people.
Nowadays, Renaissance Fairs describes the real meaning of that time, with a profusion of entertainment, art, music and food that celebrate the ages in which they’re set. If talking about the current trend of Renaissance dresses, these dresses are the elegant choice for Ren fair and medieval parties as well as costume balls and Halloween costume parties. Today it depends on your choice, but men can wear anything including, monks, knights, churls and noblemen themed dresses; while women can dress themselves ornately in long and elegant dresses.
However, at that time, kings, queens and rich people would wear dresses in luxurious fabrics. Moreover, wedding dresses were above all gorgeous in appearances that were made of brocades. Renaissance dresses for women had many layers of clothing. This was doubtless regarded as a way to keep the body warm in the wintry weather. If talking about women’s dress more, it also consisted of a kirtle (frocks) that was worn with a gown. This kirtle consists of a firmly fitted bodice as well as a flowing skirt. Women also would take a long time to get ready because of a number of layers concerned in the dresses. Interesting fact about the Renaissance period is that, queens wore gowns made of purple color.
At the Renaissance time, dresses were believed to be unfinished without hats. Apart from this, it was also the time when berets arrived on the scenario that was designed for people of all ages. These stylish caps were decorated with jewels and often had a cord attached to the back. Now, because of popular authentic designs, different colors, various sizes and popular styles, renaissance dresses are widely preferred by people of all ages. South African Art ? Politics and Progress for the Masters?
South African Art, Its Masters And The Politics Of Social Change
South African art, its masters, world renowned paintings and grass roots artists alike have all been shaped to some extent by the politics of social change over the past century. Artistic practice in much of South Africa has been affected by official policies of racial segregation, wars, economic and political migration, and an infinite number of marginal influences that combine to form the creative identity of the artist and their choice of subject. In the early years of British colonial rule great masters such as Jacob Hendrik Pierneef (1886 -1957) were exiled in Holland due to the Anglo-Boer Wars. Undoubtedly artists such as him evolved their creative genius through painting and education abroad. These skills and influences were then adopted by other South African painters when these old masters returned from their exile.
The exchange of ideas between European colonial artists and their native black counterparts was not just a one-way process. Although missionaries, patrons and educators exposed African artists to western artistic practices, so too did many white South African modernists adopt African aesthetic elements and collaborate with like minded black South African artists. Walter Battiss (1906 -1982), Alexis Preller (1911-1975), and many other South African artists united to form The New Group. These artists explored an unconventional modern art whose foundation was centred about the integration of African and European aesthetics. They also organised exhibitions celebrating the paintings of black South African artists such as Gerard Sekoto (1913 – 1993). This social trend continued throughout the early 1900s, until the Era of apartheid that began in 1948.
During apartheid, artistic practice and the subject matter of paintings in South Africa took a radical shift. African art in general could be considered as activist art, always provoking reactionary attitudes in those that view it. Much of the artwork produced in this era is anything but passive in its visual impact or political message, its purpose was social change! Although artists played a prominent role in the resistance movement, politically minded artists such as Michael Maapola (1964 – present) were persecuted, and black artists work was rarely exhibited. Much township art was destroyed by security forces, leaving a significant gap in the nation’s cultural legacy. Louis Khela Maqhubela (1939 – present) whose paintings are a combination of abstract figures, symbolism, and genre scenes of everyday life, continued to exhibit his work during apartheid. Artistic protest took the global stage at the height of sanctions and the cultural boycott. A French based association called Artists of the World against Apartheid launched a global appeal for artists to contribute to a collection of anti-apartheid paintings. This significant fusion of works is perhaps South Africa’s single most valuable international art collection once estimated at over 13 Million Rand. The end of apartheid in 1990 saw the home-coming of the collection, and the full integration of South African artists into international artistic community following elimination of the United Nations cultural boycott.
South African Paintings Achieve Records For Established Art Masters
Apartheid undoubtedly inspired a lot of influential art in South Africa. The liberating voices of artists did much to capture the attitudes and opinions of people during this time. The cultural value of these works is indisputably priceless, however what of the monetary value? Has South African art seen a progressive increase in value since the end of apartheid? Can South African Masters set records at auction like their European counterparts have been doing in recent years?
The South African art market would indeed seem to be following world trends, South African paintings have been realising fabulous prices. The art market is booming on a global level and South Africa is no exception. In 2007, Bonhams of London established their first-ever auction solely devoted to South African art. It saw over $2,000,000 worth of art being auctioned, the sale included works by major South African masters. It is a valuable indication therefore about the position of modern South African art internationally, and that these paintings are no longer of interest only to the domestic art market.
Irma Stern’s The Tomato Picker was knocked down for $310,000 against the catalogue pre-sale estimate of $160,000-$240,000. Sekoto’s Wash Day achieved a hammer price of $140,000, and Alexis Preller’s Portrait of a Girl fetched $64,000, more than double the upper pre-sale estimate of $30,000. Walter Battiss’ portrait of his wife, artist Grace Anderson, was bid at four times the higher estimate, fetching $20,000. Jentsch also sold well with a top hammer price of $64,000 for The Namib Desert.
Gerard Sekoto’s works seem to be at the crest of the wave that has propelled contemporary South African art into the leading edge of the global art market, seeing a 300% rise in recent years. Sekoto’s self portrait shattered previous world auction records for the artist and fetched an amazing $246,900. Given this current trend 2008 should be an exciting year for contemporary South African art. Private buyers, collectors and museum and gallery curators from the USA, Europe and beyond have all registered serious interest in Bonhams’ forthcoming sales in 2008.
The Evolution – Nurturing The New South African Art Masters
Who will be the masters of tomorrow?
It is evident that artistic practice in South Africa has been affected by racial segregation, wars, and political migration, but what of the artists themselves? Apart from rendering future influences in creative style and expression through their paintings, what else have they done to nurture the next promising generations of South African masters?
Gerard Sekoto has been described as: “South Africa’s pioneer of urban black art and social realism”. Following his death in 1993, The Gerard Sekoto Foundation was formed. It was Sekoto’s expressed wish that his Estate should be used to uplift art education for young South African children. He knew that formal art education was not offered in schools during the apartheid era, and The Foundation goes some way to rectify the wrongs of the past. South Africa will someday celebrate its new masters, due to the efforts of institutions such as The Foundation, The National Arts Council and workshops run by Thupelo. However let’s not just dream of the future, what of the present day?
Contemporary art emerging from South Africa is exciting in its breadth and expression. Any creative works to come from a nation with such a unique and varied history deserves unrestrained attention. One should not just think in terms of safari and wildlife paintings. Although a commercially popular genre this does not come close to characterising the depth and variety of works currently been created by educated and professional artists in South Africa. Browse through our galleries and you may just stumble upon the next South African Master!

Russian Art On The Internet
Originally Khokhloma wood tableware were produced in monasteries and for the czar court only. At that time Khokhloma tableware production was not large scale. It was because of expensive imported tin. In 1720s after the end of the North War tin flow to Russian increased. The price went down and the material came within reach of many masters. The production and the sales of brightly painted hand made art works expanded.
Thus in the XIX century items with khokhloma painting were famous not only in Russia but in Persia, India, Middle East, the USA and Australia as well. The export of khokhloma items grew after the worldwide exhibition in 1889 in Paris.
In 1916 Nizhegorodskoye Zemstvo established the first School for Wood-Working Arts and Crafts in Semyonov. The folk arts and folklore flourished in Volga region near Nizhny Novgorod province. No other territory in Russia could equal it in the number and originality of the folk arts and crafts that had sprang to life and were developed in the local communities. The Khokhloma art painting on wooden tableware is the type of Nizhny Novgorod folk art craft that became most popular in Russia and foreign countries.
The “grass-leaves” decorative ornaments and their peculiar color scheme suggest that the Khokhloma art is rooted in the ancient Russian decorative culture while the imitation of gilt ornaments on wood dates back to the medieval Russian handicraft skills. The painting technique has been somewhat upgraded but remains essentially the same as in the ancient time.
Khokhloma russian painting amazes you with its delicate grass pattern and festive coloring, which is based on combination of scarlet cinnabar and flittering gold against the black lacquer background. This is Khokhloma specific feature. Masters used tin powder and lacquer to obtain such gold color. Now they use aluminum powder.
First, the art tableware are shaped on a lathe from the dried lime wood, which are turned into bowls, vases, mugs, dishes and spoons.
They are dried and covered with red and brown primer, so that they start looking like earthen. The unpainted articles are now coated with drying oil. Next they are polished with powdered aluminium. They become dull shining, like silver, and go to the painting division. Painted articles are then varnished and hardened in ovens at the temperature of 120-130 degrees. The heat turns the varnish yellow, the “silver” into “gold” and mellows the vivid design with an even, golden tone.
The Khokhloma dishes, cups and wooden drink pots were used for serving food at holiday feasts. The wooden tableware using at the Moscow house of an important statesman had to look valuable; accordingly, they were modeled on the rich painted plates decorated with real golden fabricated by the jewelers for the luxurious homes of the Russian nobility. Thanks to the special varnish and high-temperature processing they are quite practical and safe in use. You can drink and eat using these Khokhloma tableware, because such wares not sensitive to cold and hot, salty and sour food.
Apart from Khokhloma wood presents of tableware most visitors to Russia will have at least one set of Matrioshka dolls in their luggage. These dolls within dolls have long been a source of fascination. The undoing of the main doll to reveal others almost ad-in-finitem has always produced wonderment and appreciation for the woodcrafts art.
Examples of beautiful Khokhloma wood art presents, Paleh and Mstera varnished miniatures you can look at art store online site. It is amazing that what started out as a true folk tradition over 300 years ago is still thriving and remains basically true to it’s roots, albeit on a more organized scale.

Contemporary Painting Ideas
The word “contemporary art” generally refers to any art produced after World War II. Contemporary work of art styles are more different than they have ever been, and today’s painters contain a virtual lack of limitations that describe what is acceptable.
Scheduled below are a number of different modern styles. The majority paintings are rendered in a combination of two or more styles. Utilize the thoughts below and find your own unique style.
Realism
Realism can be generally practical to anything that is depicted realistically, even though “realism” as a movement frequently refers to the portrayal of human subjects in a practical manner. Subjects in these paintings are not posed and are not usually exhibiting theatrical behaviors–instead, they are just doing the things they do in everyday life, frequently in settings that are not at all extraordinary. Most often these subjects are modest or faintly displaying their true humanity.
If you are looking for motivation for this kind of painting, glance at the works of Edward Hopper. Select photographs of friends, family or even strangers. It is best to choose subjects that seem ignorant they are the subject of a work of art or photograph. Paint the subject as it exists in space, on a daily basis setting, doing something commonplace. Try to find the extraordinary in the ordinary.
As an option, try making a painting utilizing the hyper-realism of Chuck Close. Paint a portrait, big, up close and as reasonably as possible. Use grids and cautious planning to create the painting as practical as a photograph–if probable, even more realistic than the photograph itself.
Abstract and Non-Representational
Abstraction is the flouting down of an object into simpler or exact, essential parts. Abstraction in painting can obtain a lot of forms and is frequently puzzled with nonfigurative art, which literally is art about art, representing nothing but art.
An instance of a nonfigurative painting would be the drip work of art of Jackson Pollock, while an example of conceptual art would be the cubist paintings of Pablo Picasso. The dissimilarity between these two styles is that Picasso frequently painted pictures of things (people, scenes, objects), and Pollock’s drip paintings were merely paint dripped on the canvas.
To complete an abstract painting, decide a subject–whatever subject that makes logic to you. You might be painting a still life, scenery or a portrait. Depending on the degree of your abstraction, the concluding product may perhaps not even seem figurative of the unique subject. Now, learn your subject. Shatter the subject down into its more basic parts. You may prefer to focus on the organic traits of your subject, or the harder and more angular edges. After finishing a few studies of your subject, start on your painting on canvas. Make use of the abstraction to call concentration to the parts of your subject that might be unseen or under-appreciated.
To complete an abstract painting, decide your colors, your canvas and start on. You may or may not have a thought in mind when you start your painting. Permit the knowledge of painting itself to take priority over your instinct to produce something concrete and realistic.
Expressionistic
Expressionistic paintings are expressive of touching states throughout the use of paint strokes and color. These paintings are frequently theatrical, gestural, textural and lively. Expressive painters may paint in a prehistoric or young manner to balance their use of vibrant color.
Like an abstract painting, expressionistic paintings start basically by selecting a subject–any subject. The ultimate product will be a visceral and strong experience for the spectator. Expressionistic paintings are not delicate or timid.
